The land of Turkey
is located where three continents made up the old world; Asia, Africa
and Europe, and extends to the point where Europe and Asia meet. Geographically,
the country is located in the northern half of the equator. Turkey
is roughly rectangular in shape and is 1,660 kilometers wide. |

mainland of Anatolia, the birthplace of many great civilizations,
has always been the focal point throughout the history. It has also
been the centre of commerce with connected to three continents and
three sides surrounded by the sea. |
